Shore 90A shock-absorbing, vibration-damping elastomer.
A functional elastomer at 90 Shore A that flexes repeatedly, with 110% elongation at break. Used for seals, bumpers, vibration-damping mounts and flexible hinges. At 39 kN/m tear strength it stands up to abrasion, rebounding where rigid parts would crack.
Values are the manufacturer’s published typical figures for printed, post-processed specimens. A dash means the property is not quoted for that material by the manufacturer.
Gaskets, bellows and sealing profiles. Its elastomeric structure lets it return to shape after repeated compression.
Engine and electronics mounts, impact pads. They absorb energy and cut the vibration passed into the structure.
Joints that open and close continuously, and telescopic bellows. 110% elongation at break gives repeated motion room to work.
Robotic gripper pads and handle coverings. At 39 kN/m tear strength they last on contact faces that see wear.
